Loudoun Castle theme park was located within the grounds of the former Loudoun Castle in Galston, North Ayrshire, Scotland. The park shared its name with the castle that dated back to the 19th cent
The theme park opened in 1995 but closed at the end of the 2010 season. The reason given at the time was that the park was no longer financially viable. Since its closure, many of the rides and attractions remained at the site. Today however much of the location has been cleared with very little remaining. The site has been earmarked for future property development.
