Duchal Castle is located near the village of Kimacolm in Scotland. It dates back to the 13th century. Very little remains today
Whilst Duchal Castle is a ruin, it is still interesting to look around. There is also a fair amount of history involving the castle. In 1489 there was a siege at the castle. Even King James IV was present as the big gun (Mons Meg) was called upon to blast the castle walls.
